One of the stars of The Sopranos has sadly passed away. Tony Sirico, who played Paulie on the show, was revealed to have died by one of his costars via a heartfelt Instagram post that had fans in tears.
He is among a few other notable television actors who have passed in the past couple of days, making it a tragic week for fans of all genres.

Best known for his role as Peter Paul ‘Paulie Walnuts’ Gualtieri in The Sopranos , Sirico was 79 years old when he passed in an assisted living facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The exact cause of death hasn’t been revealed, but his health had reportedly been declining for a number of years.
The news broke via an Instagram post by his co-star.
Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher Moltisanti in the show, wrote a touching caption on a photo of the two of them together. “Tony was like no one else: he was as tough, as loyal and as big hearted as anyone [I’ve] ever known. […] I will miss him forever. He is truly irreplaceable.”
