Pamela Anderson has shared details on how her relationship with Liam Neeson has developed.
They appeared close this summer
Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, appeared close and flirty while promoting their movie The Naked Gun this summer.
At the time, some reports claimed that they were in a relationship, while others alleged that it was a PR stunt for the movie, which Anderson has denied.
She has now set the record straight
Now, in a recent interview with People, published on Tuesday, December 9, Anderson explained their connection once and for all.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” Anderson said.
They spent a week together
Anderson explained that the ‘short while’ they spent together was an ‘intimate week’ at Neeson’s home in upstate New York.
“I had my own room,” she pointed out. “Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”
He even introduced her as his future wife
The pair even spent time gardening together and when they met up with friends, Neeson introduced Anderson as his future wife.
Anderson said that they ‘went to dinner at a tiny French restaurant where he introduced me as the ‘future Mrs. Neeson.’”
Then they got busy with life
Anderson added that following their ‘romantic lost week’ the pair ‘went our separate ways to work on other films’.
When they reunited this summer to promote their movie, Anderson and Neeson ‘were having fun’, the actress said.
Some people thought it was PR
Referring to rumors that their caring looks to each other during the movie promo was a PR stunt, Anderson said, “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’”
“I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’”
