Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis made a number of public appearances as they celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with other members of the royal family. Despite being in the public’s eye, Kensington Palace has released a new video showing how the youngest royals celebrated their grandmother at home.
In a number of sweet snapshots released by the royal family, the Cambridge kids can be seen baking cakes to share with the community in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne.
The multi-day event saw the Royal Family make a number of public appearances as they paid tribute to the Queen. The jubilee included a traditional Trooping the Color where thousands of parading soldiers, horses, and musicians march past the royal family.

Even though the Platinum Jubilee celebrate the Queen, many eyes were on her royal grandchildren.
Notably, the Queen’s four-year-old grandson Prince Louis stole the show at both the Trooping the Colour and The Platinum Pageant. Prince Louis is the youngest child of Kate and William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. His royal siblings are Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Outside of the formal jubilee celebrations, the royal grandchildren found other ways to celebrate the Queen.
Newly released footage shared by the royal family on social media shows Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte baking cakes for a community street party in Cardiff. Of course, mom Kate stepped in to help and make sure things stayed relatively under control.
It looks like the royal grandchildren had a blast preparing these cakes to celebrate the Queen.
In the video released by Kensington Palace, all three children could be seen mixing ingredients and decorating the cakes with icing and sprinkles. It looks like these tasty cakes were a hit to make and eat in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
