Recently, one TikTok user opened up about a situation she absolutely could not even believe herself.
TikTok user and wedding singer Alexandra Starr shared that she was put in a situation that allowed her to get the most spiteful and petty revenge on her ex.
Starr was booked as a wedding singer for her ex’s wedding.
Apparently, Starr shared that she was booked as a stand-in singer for a wedding band that her ex-boyfriend had booked. According to her TikTok, she has been a singer for bands for quite some time.
She ended up being booked for her ex’s wedding because the original singer was sick.
Not only was the groom her ex-boyfriend, but he was also marrying the girl that he had cheated on Starr with when they were in a relationship together.
They weren’t in just a casual relationship, either.
Starr said the two of them had been dating for over five years and even lived together. After he had cheated and she found out, he was marrying the new girl after just one year.
Apparently, the two were quite serious, despite his “cheating.”
Starr said she was nervous and obviously going through a slew of emotions, seeing as the groom had told her that the two of them would get married one day—how the tables had turned.
Starr decided to come up with a bit of revenge herself.
Starr shared she hid for the beginning of the night really, but when their first dance came on, she had a plan for her ex. During their wedding song, she stopped and broke out in Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.”
She then proceeded to throw water at him.
Although some of the bride and groom’s friends attempted to stop Starr from singing the song, she kept on going. She even grabbed water out of a friend’s hand and threw it in the groom’s face.
People online were shocked by the entire ordeal.
Many people couldn’t believe that Starr ended up in this situation, and many also applauded her for her guts to go up there and confront the groom after he did her so dirty.
Many could not believe the groom ran after her, instead of comforting the bride.
In the original video, the groom can be seen running after Starr and not the bride. A lot of TikTok users felt it was “very telling.” Starr later shared that her ex has been texting her for a week straight following the wedding.
Some people thought it was petty, however, and she ruined her career.
Starr said she knew that she would get fired from the incident, but didn’t really care. Five days after the wedding and the drama, she ended up moving to California anyway.
Overall, it’s a lesson learned.
On top of Starr having to confront her ex in the most in-your-face way possible, her story has prompted other people to open up that he not only cheated on Starr, but also cheated on his “bride-to-be.” Maybe he deserved this one.
