Robert Pattinson has responded to news of Jennifer Lawrence serving him food from the trash at her house.

In a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her close friendship with Die My Love co-star Robbert Pattinson.
She told a story of a moment when she had a group of girlfriends over and Pattinson decided to stop by.

She described the situation
Lawrence recalled the situation, saying, “I had my girlfriends over. We were in our pajamas. We were watching Little Women. It was December.”
She shared that Pattinson reached out that night to say he had just finished filming near her and wanted to stop by.
He came over to join them
Lawrence went on, “He was like, ‘Hey, I just wrapped something like a block away from you.’”
“And I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ Because Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals. So I was like, ‘Come over!’”
Pattinson then asked if she had any food
When Pattinson showed up at her place, he asked if she had any food because he was hungry after a long day of filming. She said she did, but turns out it wasn’t exactly restaurant quality.
She served him food from the trash
“He goes to the bathroom, and I do have food, but it’s in the trash. And so while he was in the bathroom, I was just, like, pulling food out of my garbage can,” Lawrence admitted.
The actress added that Pattinson enjoyed the food and apparently even asked for more.
Lawrence then came clean to him
“I was like, ‘Well, there is, but it’s in the garbage,’” the actress said.
According to The Hunger Games star, Pattinson told her he didn’t mind, and went to pull the rest of the food from the trash himself.
Pattinson has now reacted to this
After Lawrence admitted to the situation on TV, Pattinson was asked about news that he unknowingly ate food from the trash.
When asked about it by Entertainment Tonight, he said, “I thought it was delicious,” adding, “She must have a really nice trash haul.”
