Sorry to all our Virgos out there, but your dream of dancing for Jennifer Lopez might not come true.
Astrology can definitely be fun, or even pretty meaningful if you really buy into it. For most people, though, it’s just a little bit of trivia about yourself that can be applied to some parts of your life. Other people, though, take it very seriously, and even base pretty big life decisions off of it — apparently Jennifer Lopez is one of them.
I don’t think even J.Lo herself would argue if someone said she was a little bit of a diva.
You don’t get to be one of the biggest pop stars, most well-renowned dancers, and award-winning actresses in the world by being a pushover and not going for what you want, after all.
Heather Morris, best known for playing Brittany on Glee , is also a professional dancer who opened up about one of the ways J.Lo had a reputation for being particular in a new podcast.
“Jennifer Lopez held an audition for dancers for one of her tours,” Morris said.
“She walks in the room and she said, ‘Thank you so much, you guys have worked so hard. By a show of hands if there are any Virgos in the room, can you just raise your hand?’” Morris went on .
“She looked at them and she said, ‘Thank you so much for coming.’ And they had to leave after a full day of auditioning for Jennifer Lopez,” Morris said.
“Most of the time at a dance audition, you’re not getting paid, you’ve been there since 10 a.m. and you’re auditioning until 6 p.m,” she went on to say .
Morris clarified she wasn’t at that audition herself, but emphasized it “is true,” adding, “When one person says something, could be true… when multiple people say something … it’s like, ‘Oh, that happened.’”
Morris went on to speculate it might be because Virgos stereotypically “like things planned and neat.”
Jennifer, however, loves “a little bit of chaos in her life.”
That’s certainly one way to lose out on a job that I would be telling everyone about for the rest of my life.
