The odd humble post showing an honest accident coming from a celebrity can be a little comforting. Knowing they make silly mistakes like all the normal people in the world is a reminder that at their core, they are just like us, despite their millions of dollars.
Jennifer Aniston made one such post just last week, showing off a mishap with some spray tanner.

Jennifer Aniston was a little contorted in a recent Instagram post.
The video shows her in a robe next to a counter, her leg lifted up with her foot in the sink.
My interest is certainly piqued. What’s going on here?
“Note to self,” she begins saying to the camera.
“Hands and feet, you must lotion before a spray tan, otherwise … you end up with a situation.”
Ah, so that’s what’s happening.
The camera then zooms in so we can get a look at the damage.
It’s…incredible orange.
Orange and streaky and not the natural sun-kissed look people tend to go for with spray tan. Oops!
“Oh my god, more than anything,” says the person washing her foot, who’s clearly putting in work trying to scrub the orange away.
“This is what love is,” she jokes.
The video was one of a series that showed behind-the-scenes snippets of Aniston’s Apple+ series The Morning Show .
Fan reactions were a little mixed, though most found it funny as there was an obvious parallel to be drawn here.

In this episode, Ross also has quite the mishap with self-tanners, but unlike modern-day Aniston, his was a full-body problem rather than just being contained to his foot.
“Ross didn’t tell you about spray tans?” read one of the comments.
“Orange you glad you know now?” another asked.
However, some found the video to be a little egregious.
“[Why] is someone washing your feet?? [Can’t] you wash them yourself?” asked one user, a question that was repeated by other concerned viewers.
Some fans found it a gross show of status.
“I don’t care how rich and famous you are, you can wash your own feet,” read another comment.
“Is she that clueless or can’t she see that this looks terrible?” someone asked, “I feel for her assistant, kind of humiliating.”
Some people have come to her defense by explaining how spray tanner works.
You can’t shower for a few hours after using it so you don’t wash away what you just applied, so it’s possible she has a staff member washing her foot ask not to ruing the tan on her hands and arms by doing it herself.
Regardless, it is a funny video.

If there’s one thing to admire, it’s Aniston’s ability to stay standing like that for however long this took. I can feel my leg cramping just looking at it.
