Guy Fieri’s son, Hunter Fieri, took to Instagram to wish his famous Food Network star father a happy 54th birthday, for his more than 100,000 followers.
The touching birthday tribute was met with a ton of praise from fans who loved to see their father-son bond and thought Hunter’s message was “heartwarming.”

And while we’re sure he received countless birthday messages, none of them hold a candle to the one his son, Hunter Fieri, wrote for him via Instagram .
The Fieri family shares a tight bond on and off-screen. But Hunter, 25, has recently opened up about stepping out of his father’s shadow and setting out on his own venture.
Last year he released his first solo project. He visited North Dakota to film a mini-documentary on how ZENB makes their yellow pea pasta for a partnership he has with the plant-based brand.
“It’s my first time really going out there by myself and believing in something and getting after it,” he told PEOPLE.
He admitted that without his father’s guidance, he felt a bit out of sorts at first.
“I was very nervous,” he said .
“I didn’t know what to look for. I didn’t know what to do in the sense of how do I watch over myself while also playing the role of the star of the documentary?” he said, adding that he planned to use what he’s already learned from his dad.
“But I just took what I learned from my dad…,” he said .
“And I just remembered what I was taught and I put everything I had forward,” he continued, adding that the best piece of advice his dad ever gave him was “to be myself.”
He explained that his father taught him to be more than just “Guy Fieri’s son.”
“Always listen, be smart, and apply what you’ve learned. And he always told me, ‘You can’t be just Guy Fieri’s son,” he said.
“If you really want to take over this world, you got to be Hunter Fieri,’ and that’s just what I think about. “
“He’s a great father,” Hunter said. “He’s taught me so much and he continues to teach me every day. He doesn’t act like a celebrity. He’s just a family man.”
So, it’s no secret that Hunter and Guy have an incredible relationship. Which only made his birthday tribute all the more touching.
“Father, you are not just a rockstar and a badass,” he began.
“You are a legend, an icon, a role model, and an amazing father!” he added .
He added that he’s proud to be his son, and wished him a happy birthday. “I’m proud to be your son. I love you! Happy Birthday pops!” he wrote.
