When it comes to Hollywood couples that give me faith in true love, it doesn’t get much better than Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Sure they’re not married, but to be honest, who cares?! They clearly don’t need a piece of paper to prove their love for one another. It’s a love that has lasted nearly four decades and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
Now, Goldie is getting fans all kinds of emotions after posting a rare pic with her beau and praising his fathering skills in a heartfelt post for Father’s Day.

Kurt and Goldie have been dating since 1983. No need to pull out a calculator, folks, I can tell you right now that’s 39 years!
These two first sparked their relationship on the set of Swing Shift and have been making magic on, and off-screen, ever since!
As fans of the famous pair know, their beautiful blended family is part of what makes Goldie and Kurt so magical.
Kurt is father to son Boston Russell from his previous marriage, and Goldie is mother to Oliver and Kate Hudson from her previous marriage.
Together, they share a son — Wyatt Russell — and by all accounts, everyone in the Hawn + Hudson + Russell fam is as close as ever!
In fact, Kate left fans (and Kurt) in tears after her most recent Father’s Day post to her “Pa” Kurt.
Sharing a throwback photo of the pair hugging, Kate wrote: “Fun, adventurous, passionate, determined, honest, devoted, amazing father and the best head of hair in Los Angeles!”
“Lucky us!” she added. “Love you Pa! Happy Fathers Day.”
If that wasn’t sweet enough, Goldie came into the post comment with words from Kurt.
“Honey I showed this to daddy. Here’s his message…” Goldie commented.
“Birdie, mommy just showed me this picture, this perfect Father’s Day present. I’ve never seen it before. Wow…it’s a killer. Lotta water under the bridge…it’s kinda hard to see it though cause all that water seems to somehow have found its way into my eyes…thanks for making me the luckiest father in the world sweetheart. I love you, Pa.”
I know, right? How are we supposed to cope with all this emotion?
Well, keep your tissues out because Goldie took it one step further and made her own post praising her man for all he’s done for their children.
Sharing a picture of the two locking lips, Goldie wrote: “How can I explain the gratitude and love I feel for the greatest father who has given us all so much in this life?”
As you can imagine, fans were praising the sweet pair in the comments section.
“He appears to be a pretty amazing man!” wrote one fan. “Anyone who can raise children as his own, makes for a very amazing man!”
“I love your love!” said another. “Always have! Always will!”
Well if these two don’t give you hope for true love, I don’t know who will!
