There is no celebrity couple that fills my heart with joy the way Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn do. Not only are they a gorgeous, timeless duo, but they have also done things their way and don’t care what anyone thinks!
Recently, Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson celebrated her father figure Kurt on Father’s Day with the sweetest post, and despite not having Instagram, Kurt replied and made us all tear up.
This is my warning now that if you’re trying to prevent mascara from running down your face, avert your eyes now!
It’s no secret the entire universe (including me) loves Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
Not only are they one of the most iconic Hollywood pairs, but their love story is one for the ages.
If they weren’t sweet enough, nothing warms my heart more than seeing how much Goldie’s kids also love Kurt!
As fans of the famous pair know, their beautiful blended family is part of what makes Goldie and Kurt so magical.
Kurt is father to son Boston Russell from his previous marriage, and Goldie is mother to Oliver and Kate Hudson from her previous marriage.
Together, they share a son — Wyatt Russell — and by all accounts, everyone in the Hawn + Hudson + Russell fam is as close as ever!
They’re just living proof that love makes everyone family, and that showing up for those you love matters more than a title ever could.
For Father’s Day this year, Goldie’s daughter (acclaimed blonde bombshell and actress) Kate Hudson shared a throwback photo of herself and Kurt that is so sweet I’m at a loss for words.
Thankfully, Kate had a beautiful message to caption the photo with.
“Fun, adventurous, passionate, determined, honest, devoted, amazing father and the best head of hair in Los Angeles!” Kate captioned the sweet throwback pic. “Lucky us! Love you Pa! Happy Fathers Day!”
Kate’s mom Goldie was one of the first to comment, saying “Honey this picture speaks volumes.”
A few moments later, Goldie returned to the post’s comment section with a message from Kurt, who doesn’t have social media.
“Honey I showed this to daddy. Here’s his message…” Goldie wrote . “Birdie, mommy just showed me this picture, this perfect Father’s Day present. I’ve never seen it before. Wow…it’s a killer.”
He continued: “Lotta water under the bridge…it’s kinda hard to see it though cause all that water seems to somehow have found its way into my eyes…”
“Thanks for making me the luckiest father in the world sweetheart,” he added. “I love you, Pa.”
If that wasn’t high enough praise for the dad of four, Goldie took it one step further to wish her beau a Happy Father’s Day with a sweet post of her own.
It’s rare Goldie posts a pic with Kurt so when she does you all know I’m SO EXCITED!
