Rock n’ roll fans across the world are mourning the loss of Brett Tuggle, best known for being a keyboardist in the legendary rock group, Fleetwood Mac.
The sad news was confirmed to Rolling Stone magazine by Brett’s son, Matt Tuggle, who told fans his father died this past Father’s Day Sunday.

Brett Tuggle’s career was nothing short of excellence.
From performing with Rick Springfield in the ’80s to joining David Lee Roth on tour from 1986 to 1994, Brett was passionate about music.
He joined Fleetwood Mac in 1997, during their reunion era, and tour with them for over two decades until 2018.
After performing with the legendary group for 21 years, Brett got an abrupt call one day saying he was out of the band.
As reported by Page Six, Brett revealed that his firing was due to lead singer Stevie Nicks thinking he was too close to former guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
“It came to a point where Stevie said, ‘You’re going to have to decide,'” Brett told ‘Rolling Stone’ in 2020.
“I said, ‘You know, Stevie, I love playing with you. I support you. But Lindsey doesn’t have a band.’ She said, ‘I know he needs good people.’”
“She seemed to be OK with it when I went off to do Lindsey’s thing,” he continued.
“But think in the end, she looked at me a little as abandoning her and going over to Lindsey’s camp.”
It’s clear Brett’s talents were desired by many, including some of the best musicians in the world!
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Brett Tuggle’s son confirmed that his dad passed away on Sunday from complications related to cancer.
“He was loved by his family so much,” Matt told the outlet . “His family was with him throughout the entire time of his illness. He was a lovely father. He gave me music in my life.”
