Dwayne Johnson just made his cousin’s life as a single mom and pro wrestler a whole lot easier with a new house and a new car in a sweet surprise.
Johnson became a superstar for his impressive turn as The Rock and for a series of big summer blockbusters. But in his time in the spotlight, he’s also shown himself to be a motivational figure who inspires people to work hard both for their own sake and for the sake of each other.

And he’s clearly someone who likes to lead by example as he’s been known to reward those who selflessly made a positive impact on him and on their communities. Although we’ve seen that he usually does this with a surprise gift of a new car , it seems he wanted to go the extra mile for one incredibly hard-working cousin of his.
And as we’re about to see, the results are beautiful to witness.
On June 17, Johnson uploaded a video to Instagram showing him leading a woman into a spacious house while covering her eyes.
As he would explain in the caption of his post, this is his cousin Sarona Snuka, whom he’s been close to since they were children and who has the same passion for wrestling as he does.
And as he would write in the description of a follow-up video released the next day, “Life as a pro wrestler is very hard. It can be very rewarding, but it can also tax your soul.”
He added that it’s even harder when you’re trying to make it in that industry as a woman and especially so when you’re a single mother as Snuka is.
In his words, “Man this girl’s gone thru some tough times, but regardless of what life’s thrown her way – she was ALWAYS determined to break the cycle and become a strong and inspiring single mom example to her two greatest inspirations — her daughters, Milaneta & Maleata.”
And her incredible fortitude and drive inspired him to lighten the load for her and surprise her with a new house.
As we can see in the video capturing this moment, it was a deeply emotional surprise for her and a powerful opportunity for Johnson to show his cousin some love and support.
And while we can see that Snuka’s eyes filled with tears once she saw what her cousin had arranged for her, the end of the video made it clear that she was very much in a celebratory mood.
As Johnson wrote, “Hard to explain these emotions for all of us.”
But just in case Snuka hadn’t had enough good news that day, both Johnson and her two daughters had another surprise for her.
And her excitement was so palpable that she just barely stopped herself from cursing as she excitedly showed the girls what is was like inside the brand new vehicle.
It’s also endearing to see how this generosity had already started to overwhelm her before she even saw what her new car looked like.
