Over the past 30 years, the strength and numbers of the LGBTQ+ community in Hollywood have risen tremendously — thanks largely to trailblazers like Elton John and Ellen DeGeneres.

Richard Pryor was rumored to have slept with several high-profile men, one of whom was Marlon Brandon.
His widow told People that, “Richard wasn’t gay, he just had dalliances. He preferred women over any other kind of experience, but he wasn’t loathed to have those experiences.”
Aubrey Plaza
During an interview with The Advocate , Aubrey admitted that she gave off ” masculine energy .” She said that her female fans are into her and that she returns their feelings of adoration. Aubrey also said that she’s fallen in love with both men and women in the past.
Miley Cyrus
“Everyone knows that [expletive] are prettier than [expletive],” Miley said bluntly during an appearance on Barstool Radio . “That’s what ended up making female relationships make more sense to me.”
Miley went on to say how she feels her role in a relationship makes more sense when she’s with a woman.
Billie Joe Armstrong
Most aging pop-punkers would probably be surprised to learn that Green Day frontman/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong has been openly bi-sexual since 1995. Billie believes that all human beings are born bisexual and that society simply engrains it out of us.
Cara Delevingne
During a Zoom conversation with Variety , Cara said “I always will remain, I think, pansexual. However one defines themselves, whether it’s ‘they’ or ‘he’ or ‘she,’ I fall in love with the person — and that’s that. I’m attracted to the person.”
Bella Thorne
In 2018, Bella Thorne came out as bisexual. Roughly one year later, she amended her original statement declaring that she was actually a pansexual but just wasn’t aware of it at the time.

Billy Eichner took to Twitter in order to show his support for the young members of the LGBTQ+ community. He also praised those in Hollywood who came before him and allowed him to find the strength to be open and be himself in his chosen profession.

Marlon Brando
