They first met in the ‘90s

She’s been open about her struggles
The Friends alum has been open about her struggles with fertility over the years, sharing in an interview with Allure that she has tried IVF and alternative therapies in her 30s and 40s that didn’t end up working for her.
She tried all the things she could
“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it,” Aniston said.
“I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it.”
Aniston eventually gave up on the idea
Aniston shared that she eventually gave up on the idea of having kids of her own, saying, “The ship has sailed. I have zero regrets. I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe’. I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
She opened up about the media scrutiny
Now, her lifelong friend, Sandler, and his wife Jackie, send Aniston flowers every year for Mother’s Day as a gesture of their love and support.
As well as being open about her struggles with fertility, Aniston has also spoken about the type of scrutiny she’s faced over the years for not having children.
Aniston shrugged off the criticism
The actress has previously stated that she received a lot of criticism for not having children during her marriage with Brad Pitt (2000-2005) and her partnership with Justin Theroux (2011-2017) but has since shrugged it off.
They media doesn’t know her well enough
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, published 9 October, Aniston said, “[The media] didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because I don’t go out there and tell them my medical woes.”
She doesn’t want to adopt
Aniston also explained her decision not to go for adoption, telling the Armchair Expert podcast, “When people say, ‘But you can adopt’, I don’t want to adopt. I want my own DNA in a little person.!
“That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.”
