Take notes, kids.
Halle Berry just taught the world a very valuable lesson on how to deal with trolls.
And it has to do with three laughing emojis.
Halle Berry isn’t trying to fit in with the world’s beauty standards.

Earlier this month, the 53-year-old even joined the “no bra club.”
She posted the steamy image on her 53th birthday.
She captioned it: “Leveled up, Circa ‘66.”
Leveled up, indeed.
Before that, the “John Wick” actress had come close to sharing topless images on her Instagram page.

Like this gorgeous one, which she captioned with “Summer swingin.'”
Or this artsy pic of her in a desert.

“Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live!” she captioned the pic.
She’s not the only star to have #freedthenipple.

Disney’s Dove Cameron made headlines in August for posting this image.
In her caption, she quoted a book on feminism: “Women HAVE a history that has been systematically suppressed. Our collective spirituality has largely been tainted to fit the needs of men and those in power.”
Chrissy Teigen and Miley Cyrus have also let it all hang loose.

There ain’t no shame in their braless game.
Halle’s self-love definitely came in handy recently when she had her taste of Instagram trolls.

She’s been in this business long enough to school those who come for her.
“Today I was touched by an angel,” she captioned this pic of herself holding a butterfly. “#SpiritAnimal.”

It wasn’t long until someone pointed out the appearance of her hands.
This is the comment that started it all:

Soon after it was posted, Halle responded.
But not in the way that you’d think…
Instead of being upset by the user’s comment, Halle took it upon herself to laugh it off.

Way to go, Halle! She saw those haters coming from a mile away.
Halle wasn’t the only one laughing along at her “construction worker” hands.

“Yeah she forgot to filter them like she does for all her close up shots,” someone wrote, along with three laughing emojis.
Another person compared her hands to those of a “factory worker.”

Sadly, one person did cross the line by bringing up her past husbands.
“No wonder all her husbands run away so quickly, guess they can’t bear @halleberry without her makeup,” they wrote.
This person actually defended Halle in a hilarious way.

She’s right. No one’s perfect!
And finally, someone pointed out that at least her hands are moisturized!

Solid point.
This isn’t the first time the star has been the subject of ridicule online.
Trolls have tried to mommy-shame her before.
Back in 2016, a shamer tried to say that Halle was embarrassed by her kids since she always hides their faces.

Uh, not so.
The Oscar winner ended up delivering a solid clapback.

“I’ve noticed you have said this several times now, so let me be clear — I’m not at all ashamed of my children,” she began.
“I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children.”

You tell them, mama!
Thankfully, a lot of commenters had her back.

“Im not even a celebrity and I don’t show my children’s faces on my biz social media either,” one wrote.
“Im not comfortable with even a small number of unknown people seeing their innocent little eyes.”
“You tell ’em Halle. Too many weirdos in this world to not protect their identities,” mentioned another.
In the end, the consensus was for the star to do what she feels is right for her kids.
Berry isn’t even the first celeb to hide her children’s faces in images.

So many celebs like Charlize Theron and Kristin Bell don’t either.
Let’s also not forget that this is a woman who handles any criticism with class.
Even when she won a Razzie for her role in Catwoman , not only did she show up, she also gave a speech!
So with Halle’s classy response to the “construction hands” comment, she taught us all a very valuable lesson once again: kill ’em with kindness.
And you know, three laughing emojis.
