Sandra Bullock is opening up about the one movie she regrets making.
After decades of making movies, there are bound to be a few that weren’t exactly home runs. After recently revealing that she will be taking a hiatus from acting, the 57-year-old acclaimed actress is now taking a look back on her resumé with only one regret.

The 57-year-old actress has been in a ton of movies recently, and they’ve all been huge successes.
Since the release of her first two Netflix films, “Bird Box” in late 2018 followed by “The Unforgivable” in 2021, both of which garnered a ton of popularity, you might say her acting career has been having a bit of a renaissance.
One that many of us were thrilled about!
ICYMI, “Bird Box” held the number one position for most-watched film in Netflix history up until it was bumped down to second place by Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot in “Red Notice” in December.
And her subsequent film , The Unforgivable , also went down as one of the most popular films of 2021, however, and earned itself a position in the top 10 most-streamed Netflix films in history.
That’s two record-breaking, history-making successes in just three years.
On top of that, Bullock has another film, “The Lost City” coming out in 2022.
Unfortunately, that will be the end of Bullock’s winning streak, for a while anyway. The Bird Box actress recently revealed that she will be taking a hiatus from acting to spend time with her family.
“I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
She joked that she’s going to become a helicopter parent — servicing “[her kids’] every need,” and monitoring their “social calendar.”
“All the parents know me as the crazy lady with the pandemic,” she said in an interview.
“They know their children will return without COVID when they’ve come to our house,” she added.
Taking a moment to look at Bullock’s career, it’s hard to believe she’s been making movies for nearly four decades.
Throughout her career, she’s made some memorable and iconic movies like Miss Congeniality . Who could forget that one? It’s a classic!
In 2010, she earned her first Academy Award for her starring role in “The Blind Side”.
In 2014, she was nominated again for the film, Gravity . There’s no denying that Bullock is a powerhouse in Hollywood!
However, every actor has one or two roles in their career that they regret doing.
Bullock recently opened up about the one film she regrets making and it might surprise some of her fans.
When asked in an interview with TooFab if there are any movies she’s been in that were received badly that she has since come around on, she explained:
“I have one no one came around to and I’m still embarrassed I was in,” she said . “It’s called Speed 2 .”
She said that she’s always been open about her feelings toward the film.
“I’ve been very vocal about it. Makes no sense. Slow boat. Slowly going towards an island,” she explained, adding that she wishes that she “hadn’t done” it.
“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe who was also a part of the interview, pointed out that the movie, “had a kind of cult love as well,” but Bullock quickly rebutted that.
“Like five people. Him and the other four 12-year-olds who were watching the slow boat going towards the tiny island,” she said.
