Johnny Depp is wasting no time celebrating his defamation trial win over his ex-wife, Amber Heard. After six weeks of emotional testimony, which included both parties accusing each other of abuse, the Fairfax, Virginia jury decided after less than three full days of deliberation that Johnny Depp was the winner of the pair's libel lawsuit.

The actor has been across the pond since Memorial Day weekend and is continuing to party following the jury's verdict.

Johnny Depp was spotted out and spending major bucks on Sunday night.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has been out and about across England over the past week. From performing with his friend and music collaborator Jeff Beck to partying with friends, it's clear Johnny is eager to continue his life post-trial.

As reported by TMZ, the actor rented out a popular Birmingham spot — Varanasi — for an intimate dinner with around 20 friends.

The restaurant's Operations Director Mohammed Hussain told the news outlet that Johnny's bill was around 50,000 British pounds or about $60,000 in American currency.

In a statement released after his win, Johnny thanked the jury for giving him his life back.

"Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed. All in the blink of an eye," he began.

"... And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled."

Johnny's expensive dinner comes off the heels of the news that Amber Heard will be unable to pay the $10.35 million that the jury awarded to the Sleepy Hollow actor.

Speaking with "People" magazine about Amber's payment, Legal analyst Emily D. Baker weighed in: "Getting the judgment is one thing. Getting the money is a whole separate thing."

"From a PR standpoint, it would not be ideal to see Johnny Depp trying to aggressively enforce this judgement," she added.

"We'll see what they do. I don't think we'll see them aggressively pursuing this judgment right away. And I don't think they necessarily should at this point."
