It’s hard to believe that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. The news of the monarch’s passing last Thursday sent shock waves across the world and left millions feeling like their one constant is now gone.
As we look to the future of the Royal Family, here’s how King Charle’s wife Camilla’s children will fit into the remodeled Royal family.
On Thursday, September 8th, it was announced that HM Queen Elizabeth II died at 96.
The news came after an earlier statement that same day indicated that the monarch was being monitored closely by doctors who were “concerned” for her wellbeing.
Shortly after her passing, it was announced that her eldest son, Charles, was now King Charles III.
Back in February, Queen Elizabeth requested for Camilla to take on the title of Queen Consort when it was time to do so.
“And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me, and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” HM said at the time.
Now that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has been upgraded to Queen Consort, many Royal family followers are wondering what that means for her two children.
Of course, Camilla Parker Bowles was married to British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles before her infamous union with King Charles was made official in 2005.
Camilla and Andrew had two children together — Tom Parker Bowles, 47, and Laura Lopes, 44.
Now that Camilla is Queen Consort and her husband Charles is King of the United Kingdom, many fans are wondering what that means for Camilla’s two adult children.
The answer? Not a whole lot, besides bragging rights, of course.

As reported by Page Six , nothing will change for Tom and Laura and they will not be given royal titles.
“Tom and Laura will remain exactly as they are, their names won’t change,” managing editor of “Majesty” magazine Joe Little told the outlet.
As far as security goes, if the pair haven’t body guards until this point, there’s a good chance they won’t get them now just because of their mom’s title change.
“If they haven’t needed security up until now, they won’t get it when the reign changes — unless it’s needed. But as a matter of course, they will not get security.”
Despite Tom and Laura’s names not changing, it’s still pretty cool that their mom is Queen Consort.
