Nowadays, if you were to ask President Donald Trump about disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, his response would show just how much acrimony exists between them.
As The New York Times reported , Trump said he hasn’t spoken to Epstein in 15 years and had banned him from all of his clubs after Epstein tried to recruit a woman who worked at his Mar-a-Lago club.
By the same token, Epstein has blamed previous troubles with the police on Trump, so it’s safe to say that the two are hardly fans of each other.

However, that same report and some recently uncovered footage reveals that this wasn’t always the case.
Back in 1992, Florida businessman George Houraney arranged a private party for Trump at Mar-A-Lago.

As he told The New York Times , this party doubled as a “calendar girl” competition that Houraney flew in “28 girls” for.
As Houraney told it, the only other guest besides these contestants and Trump himself was Jeffrey Epstein.

Houraney recalled telling Trump, “Look, Donald, I know Jeff really well, I can’t have him going after younger girls,” to which Trump reportedly replied, “Look I’m putting my name on this. I wouldn’t put my name on it and have a scandal.”
About 10 years later, their friendship still seemed to be going strong.

As Trump told New York Magazine in 2002, “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it – Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
It has since been revealed that Houraney’s misgivings about Epstein were well-founded.

Epstein would later plead guilty to unlawful sex with minors in 2006 and ABC News reported that he now stands indicted of sex trafficking and conspiracy.
Houraney also described this event as the “very first party” and MSNBC’s Morning Joe recently showed footage of another one.

Although this party also took place in 1992, the difference in guests between this one and the one Houraney described suggests that it was a separate event.
Epstein also attended this party, but it seems as though he wasn’t the only male guest.

As you can see in this clip, Epstein and Trump can be seen sharing a jovial conversation as the man on the left looks on with amusement.
According to Morning Joe, this party also featured cheerleaders from the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.

Again, Houraney hadn’t mentioned flying in anyone from either of these teams, so the party captured in the full video likely wasn’t explicitly the same “calendar girl” competition.
Much of the footage depicts Trump dancing and enjoying himself while in the cheerleaders’ company.

According to Morning Joe the footage was gathered in the lead-up to Trump’s appearance on Faith Daniels’ talk show on NBC.
As Trump said in the clip, “You’re going to get great ratings on your show.”
However, one part of this footage caught the notice of Vox journalist Aaron Rupar, who described Trump as “getting handsy” in it.

He was likely referring to the first five seconds of the clip, in which Trump grabs the woman in front of him around the waist, pulls her towards him, and then slaps her on the buttocks.
Rupar tweeted out this clip and the one showing Trump conversing with Epstein earlier today.
Both clips are selectable here, so you can examine how Trump interacted with Epstein and the women involved for yourself.
