Looks like Donald Trump couldn’t resist taking a jab at Taylor Swift after she got booed at the Super Bowl.
He was the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, and honestly, given the mixed reaction he got himself — some cheers, some boos — you’d think he’d sit this one out. But nope, he went right ahead and threw shade at Taylor.
Trump seizes the moment to mock Taylor Swift

After the game, Trump hopped onto Truth Social, apparently deciding that comparing his crowd reaction to Taylor’s was a top priority.
He posted a video of himself getting some cheers next to a clip of Swift getting loudly booed, then shared a post that read: “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed.”
“The world is healing!”
Swift is caught in the middle of a football rivalry
Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. His team lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, meaning no historic three-peat for them.
Since she’s been so linked to the Chiefs, the second she popped up on the big screen, the Eagles fans in the stadium went off — aggressively booing her. She looked genuinely confused, mouthing “What’s going on?” as the noise took over.
The stadium was packed with Eagles fans, so it wasn’t exactly surprising how they reacted. You could kinda see it coming.
Trump’s long-running feud with Swift resurfaces
Trump and Swift aren’t exactly besties. At one point, he literally posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” after she made it clear she wasn’t voting for him in the last election.
Thing is, she didn’t even name-drop him. She had simply said she was voting for Kamala Harris and for “the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.” Still, that was enough to get under Trump’s skin.
Trump takes another swipe at Swift on social media

But of course, one jab wasn’t enough. Trump went back in for round two, though he took a weird detour first — talking about pennies?
He randomly posted: “For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful! I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let’s rip the waste out of our great nation’s budget, even if it’s a penny at a time.”
Then, just two hours later, he was back on Swift, writing: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
He really wasn’t letting this go!
Trump leaves early as controversy swirls
Trump didn’t even stay for the whole game. He left shortly after halftime — right after a performance where people thought Kendrick Lamar might’ve thrown some shade his way.
Samuel L. Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam, introduced Kendrick, who performed “Not Like Us.” Jackson then jokingly called Kendrick “too ghetto” and later shouted, “Yes! America wants slow chill music!” when he switched songs.
Whether it was aimed at Trump or not, it definitely added to the night’s drama.
