It’s common knowledge that celebrities have very little privacy — and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no exception.
In fact, they may even have less privacy than most celebs, since their home has been made a place where tourists can stop by for photos?
It’s as weird as it sounds.
Queen Elizabeth gifted Meghan and Harry their new home, Frogmore Cottage.
She also gifted them a home on the Buckingham Palace’s property, because it is apparently, standard procedure for Royals living outside the capital to be given somewhere they can stay in London.
But nonetheless, Frogmore Cottage is their primary home, where they plan on raising their son, Archie.
Up until Meghan had given birth, Frogmore Cottage was undergoing renovations in preparation for their official move-in.
$3 million in renovations, to be exact.
Some of the renovations included a yoga studio with a special floor, an “elaborate Gone With The Wind -style double staircase” to replace the “hotchpotch of stairs criss-crossing the interior”, and new grand fireplaces .
The home has special, sentimental value to Meghan and Harry.
Their wedding reception was held at Frogmore House — the same grounds as the cottage, and their engagement shoot took place on the same property .
Prior to moving in, the home was described as “the Windsor security zone.”
A source recounted the home as being “secluded, peaceful, tranquil and, most importantly, private.”
“No one will see them coming or going,” they added .
Ironically, that no longer seems to be the case.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now having some major privacy issues in their newly appointed family home.
See, Frogmore Cottage, is located smack-dab in the middle of the semi-public Frogmore Estate.
Frogmore House and Gardens are open to the public for three charity days each year.
These three charity events are hosted by National Open Garden Scheme, the British Heart Foundation and the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.
Naturally, security is tight since a royal family lives on-site.
But tourists still somehow managed to get alarmingly close to Meghan and Harry’s home.
Visitors were wandering through the Frogmore gardens, dodging security and police, and getting close enough to the house that they could peer inside and take photos through the windows.
Very creepy — I know.
As you can see, the Frogmore Cottage is quite close to the rest of the public areas.
It almost seems too easy for people to invade their space.
One of the fans who was able to get inappropriately close to the home described the specifics of what they saw inside.
Others were commenting on how insane it was that their home was so easily accessible.
“Couple of windows open and two shiny cars out front so someone’s there… Mad how close you can get,” someone described to Daily Mail.
“Although how they’re getting Archie to sleep under this flight path is beyond me. Absolute racket,” someone else mentioned

Considering that Meghan and Harry just got settled into their new home with their newborn baby, I would hope that their security gets taken up a million notches.
Especially after these recent turn of events.
Not only is it creepy as hell to peer into somebody’s home, it also poses a possible danger to the family — knowing how far some fans are willing to go for a couple photos.
But surely, after these reports, their security detail has been greatly improved.
Luckily, these public charity events happen infrequently on the Frogmore property — so Meghan, Harry and Archie can have their privacy back, pronto!
