For fans of the hit dance competitions show, this next season of Dancing with the Stars has got to be one of the most talked-about seasons of the show’s history. From rumors of host shake-ups to a network change, it’s clear to see executives have big plans for the legendary dance show’s upcoming 31st season.
Last week, it was announced that Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro would be joining Tyra Banks as a co-host for the upcoming season and now, former host and fan favorite Tom Bergeron is letting fans know what he thinks of the addition.
If you’re a fan of “Dancing with the Stars” then you’re probably a fan of Alfonso Ribeiro.
The Fresh Prince alum won America’s heart and the mirrorball trophy back when he competed in the show’s season 19th season.
When the news was announced last week that Alfonso would be joining Tyra Banks as the show’s co-host, fans were elated.
“Dancing with the Stars has been such an important part of my life for so many years, and I am ecstatic to officially re-join this tight-knit family as co-host,” the actor said in a statement, as per “ET.”
“ Tyra and I have a longstanding friendship that I hope will resonate with all of the fans at home as we kick off this new season on Disney+.”
Now, former host Tom Bergeron is speaking out about the show’s latest casting decision.
Sharing two of photos with the actor, Tom wrote: “Now, getting Conrad Green back as DWTS showrunner is only ONE of their smartest decisions. Here’s the other one. Congratulations, buddy!”
Now, this is the kind of support we love to see!
