Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s December 2022 death was a shock to fans and loved ones alike. The dancer, who died via a self-inflicted gunshot wound, was best known for his involvement with The Ellen DeGeneres Show .
Now, friend and fellow dancer Todrick Hall is saying that the scandal that befell DeGeneres and her show may have had something to do with Boss’s death.
DeGeneres Has Been Under Fire Since 2020.

Back in 2020, anonymous former employees accused the actress and talk show host of allowing a culture of “racism, fear and intimidation” on the set of her show.
During That Time, Boss Stood By DeGeneres.

“People were looking at him like, ‘Why are you still supporting this woman,'” Hall said in an interview with Page Six .
Hall Continued To Discuss How Online Backlash Could’ve Affected Boss’ Mental Health.

“Right now when I get online some days like right now, if I was in the wrong position of where this abuse would keep happening for years and years and years, there’s only so much a human being can take,” he said.

In Early 2022, DeGeneres Announced The End Of Her Show.

DeGeneres announced that, following the filming of the final episode on April 28th, she would not continue with The Ellen DeGeneres Show . She claims that she had come to the decision before the scandal broke.
She has since posted numerous photos and videos in Boss’s memory to her Instagram page .
Boss Had Been Involved With The Show For 8 Years.

He first appeared as a DJ for the talk show in 2014. In 2020, he was made a co-executive producer for the show.
Boss’s Career Included Many Other Shows And Movies.

He had appeared in films such as Blades of Glory and Hairspray before competing in and becoming runner-up of So You Think You Can Dance season 4. Boss later went on to become a judge on the competition show.
Boss Was Found Dead In His Hotel Room.

On December 13th, 2022, Boss was found dead due to suicide in an LA hotel room. The star was just 40 years old at the time.
He Is Survived By His Wife And Three Kids.

Boss is survived by his wife, Allison Holker, 34, as well as 6-year-old Maddox and 3-year-old Zaia. Boss had also adopted Holker’s daughter from a previous relationship, Weslie, 14.
