While getting cosmetic surgery isn’t inherently bad, many people (women especially) elect to do so because of insecurities they have about their faces and bodies . In a perfect world, these insecurities wouldn’t exist. But with certain beauty standards pushed around the world, many feel they have to change the way they look in order to fit in.
One surgeon may have taken that idea too far by showing what she’d do to someone else’s face.
In a TikTok, a nurse practitioner shared her opinions on a ‘Stranger Things’ star’s face.
TikTok user and aesthetic nurse practitioner injector, Miranda Wilson ( @np.miranda ) took to TikTok to share her suggestions on alterations for Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer’s face.
In the now-deleted TikTok, she gives ideas on how to even out the star’s face through injections.
“So if I were Natalia’s injector, this is what I would do,” she begins, before sharing the different area’s of Natalia’s face she would inject with Botox and fillers.
This includes the jaw and brow areas, as well as lip fillers.
“We’d start by treating those masseters, and you all know how I love treating masseters to help slim the face,” she says. “Next, I would actually add a bit of chin filler just to help fill out her chin and make her face more of a heart shape.”
She continues on, suggesting more injection sites.
She suggests a little lip filler, “nothing crazy,” as well as Botox for the eyebrows and Sculptra for her skin because, according to Wilson, “She does seem to have more thin skin and we want to prevent that from getting thinner.”

She finishes the TikTok off by showing a photoshopped version of Natalia’s face with all the injections.
The photoshopped picture looks drastically different from how Natalia’s face typically looks. In fact, it almost makes her look like a completely different person.
Though the original TikTok has since been deleted, it was re-uploaded to Twitter.
“I could never be a celebrity because if someone made a video like this about me I would get violent,” writes @probabypersian, who uploaded the TikTok to Twitter.
Many people took offence to the nature of the TikTok.
Wilson’s TikTok was completely blasted, as many believed she was perpetuating the kinds of insecurities women have that propel them to undergo surgery and injections in the first place.
To be honest, it was completely uncomfortable for many.
Celebrities may be subject to public opinion, but something like this still feels strangely invasive. Even mere “suggestions” make it seem like Natalia’s face isn’t good enough the way it is.
Plus, for the most part, people agreed she looks better without the injections.
I don’t think anyone is going to argue the fact that Natalia Dyer is already a beautiful person, and her face looks much better than the photoshopped version Wilson made.
Wilson did post a new TikTok, sharing that she didn’t intend to offend anyone with her analysis of Natalia’s face.
“Of course Natalia is absolutely stunning the way she is…that’s why she’s so successful,” Wilson wrote in the video’s caption. “Her photo was simply an example. I’m sorry if people took that as being mean or rude, that was not my intent at all.”
She also shows the injections she’s had on her own face.
