The Oscars are known for a lot of things including iconic red carpet looks, live performances, and extravagant gift bags for some of the event’s guests.
According to Robb Report , this year’s Oscars gift bags are going to be especially remarkable because they will include a plot of land overseas, dubbing them a lord, laird, or lady.
This year’s Oscars ceremony is just around the corner!
The 2022 Academy Awards are set to take place on Sunday, March 27. Unlike previous years, there will be a host this time around. In fact, there will be three.
To make things even better, it will be an all-female lineup of hosts.

“Imagine having one of the funniest women in comedy today hosting the Oscars … Now, multiply that by three,” Craig Erwich, the president at Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment said in a statement.
“Regina, Amy and Wanda are comedy powerhouses who will make history as the first female trio to host the biggest night in entertainment, and we’re thrilled to have them at the helm to deliver an incredible show full of unforgettable moments and laughter,” the statement continued.
“All three hosts will be together — not each hosting a separate hour.”
The Oscars haven’t had a host since 2018, when Jimmy Kimmel hosted the ceremonies. And the last time it was hosted by three people at once was in 1987, with Chevy Chase, Goldie Hawn and Paul Hogan.
There will also be an impressive lineup of musical performances.
The show’s music director, Adam Blackstone, Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, and singer, Sheila E. will be among those performing at the ceremony. Pianist, Robert Glasper and the Samples, will also be taking the stage.
In the days leading up the the event, even more musical guests will be revealed!
While we can expect plenty of iconic live moments caught on Sunday evening, there is one other thing that makes the 2022 Oscars so special.
The gift bags set to be given to guests will include a certificate indicating they own a small plot of land in Scotland, as well as a few other notable goodies.
