Kanye West’s ex, Amber Rose, just got real about why he likes to style his girlfriends in super revealing outfits. She didn’t hold back in a new interview, spilling details about their time together.

Now 41, the model—who’s called Kanye out before for trashing her and even calling her a “prostitute”—talked about it all with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast.
When Amber got asked about Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, and her super see-through dress at the Grammys, she said, “Kanye is for sure dressing her like that. Yeah, he did the same thing to me and Kim. It’s just who he is.”
She didn’t stop there…
“He wants other men to want his woman. That’s what he’s into, he likes that. He likes that men are drooling over his woman. That’s what he’s into.”
Then she added, “He wants all his friends to want to f** his girlfriend. He wants everybody that when you walk in a room, that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable.”
Amber admitted that she hated dressing like that
Shannon asked her straight up, “So you dressed like that because that’s what he wanted? You just wanted to please your man?”
“I was young,” she admitted. “And I’ll tell Kanye this now—when you’re that young, it’s like, okay, you’re buying me all this stuff, I do look pretty and cool.”
But looking back, she had a whole different vibe when she was on her own. “If you check old pics of me when I was with Kanye but out by myself, I had all his clothes on,” she said.
She even dressed differently behind his back sometimes
“I used to raid his closet when he wasn’t home. Baggy jeans, T-shirt, big jacket. I’d wear all his stuff ‘cause I hated dressing like a w***.”
She confessed: “I hated it, so I’d rebel when he wasn’t home. Usually, I’d be in sweatpants, Jordans, maybe a little dad hat. Super casual.”
She actually cried when Kanye made her wear a dress
Shannon brought up a time when Amber wore a see-through dress while she was with Kanye… just like Bianca’s.
Amber didn’t hold back. “Yeah, I did. And I cried. I remember crying,” she admitted. “I was in Italy or Paris or something, and I was arguing with him, like, ‘I don’t f***** want to wear this s***. I don’t wanna wear it.’”

Amber got asked what she thought about Bianca Censori’s see-through dress at the Grammys. Bianca, Kanye’s wife, is no stranger to bold, barely-there outfits.
Amber didn’t sugarcoat it. “Kanye is for sure dressing her like that. Yeah, he did the same thing to me and Kim. It’s just who he is.”
This isn’t the first time Amber opened up about her past relationship with Kanye
Amber’s talked about this before. Back in March 2024, she mentioned that during their two-year relationship, Kanye wanted her to “dress very sexy”—even though that wasn’t really her.
On the Just B With Bethenny Frankel podcast, she explained, “I am conservative, actually. I have always been conservative since I was young.”
The relationship lasted for only two years
It was Amber’s first time in a high-profile relationship, and with Kanye being big on fashion, he had strong opinions. “He always wanted me to dress very sexy,” she added.
Then she broke it down. “You spend two years with someone—traveling the world, buying them jewelry, telling everyone how much you love them. Then, when she decided that wasn’t the life she wanted anymore, she walked away. “I opted out.”
