Former reality star Jenelle Evans has been crying tears of joy after winning her legal battles and gaining custody of son, Jace, 13.
Battle Is Over!
The 31-year-old ex Teen Mom 2 star has secured custody of her son, and she posted to Instagram to mark the happy occasion. “#MyHappyEnding, IT’S OFFICIAL!” she wrote.
Barbara Is Fine
Addressing her followers, the former JE Cosmetics boss opened up about mom Barbara’s decision to return custody to her. Barbara has acted as Jace’s legal guardian since his infancy.
Ready For A Cruise!
“She’s completely fine. She’s like, ‘I’m ready to have my freedom. I’m ready to go on a cruise,’ and her and her friend have a cruise already planned,” Jenelle shared.
Says Family Is ‘Complete’
Jenelle is a mom of three, also raising Ensley and Kaiser. “Thanks everyone for the support! Words can’t describe how happy I truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom,” she wrote to caption her video.
Two Baby Daddies
Jenelle shares son Kaiser with ex, Andrew Lewis. She shares Ensley with husband, David Eason, also formerly a cast member of MTV series Teen Mom 2. Kaiser was fathered by ex, Nathan Griffin.
Granted ‘Full Custody’
Speaking to UsWeekly about the legal ordeal, Jenelle revealed that she and Barbara jointly decided to grant back full custody of Jace “because we want to build our relationship back as mother and daughter.”
Time To Be Back With Siblings
The influencer and TikTok face continued:
“Also, my mother agrees it’s time for Jace to be back with his siblings and living with a mother and father. She also thinks it’s important for Jace to be around a father figure to learn ‘boy things’ and have ‘men talk.'”
Fired From ‘Teen Mom’
In 2019, Jenelle was fired from the MTV franchise that made her famous after husband, David, fatally shot the family dog, Nugget.
Signed Courthouse Papers
In her tearful video, Jenelle also revealed that everything was signed and sealed and that papers at the courthouse had been inked on March 16.
‘Officially’ Signed
“We have officially signed the papers on Thursday, March 16th at the courthouse, it’s a done deal!” she also shared.
When Was Jace Born?
Jace was born back in 2009 and while Jenelle was starring on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant . Jenelle signed custody of her son to her mother in 2010, with the deal becoming permanent in 2017.
