Susan Sarandon is nothing short of a Hollywood legend .
Over the years, she’s acted in everything from Thelma & Louise , Stepmom , and The Rocky Horror Picture Show .
In addition to this, her personal life has been a whirlwind. The actress loves to date younger men. Even at 76, her preference hasn’t changed — and neither has her quest for love.
The Hollywood legend has had many relationships in Hollywood.

One of the first was the marriage to her first husband, Chris Sarandon. The two were married on September 16, 1967, when Susan was only 20. Chris is four years older.
When they got divorced, Susan kept his last name as a stage name.

After that, she moved on to different relationships with younger men. First, she dated director Franco Amurri . The 64-year-old is actually the father of her daughter, Eva.
Then, she had a 23-year relationship with Tim Robbins.
They met while filming Bull Durham and got together despite their 11-year age gap. They had two sons together: Jack and Miles.
Her biggest dating age gap wouldn’t happen until 2015.
That’s when she started dating the then-37-year-old screenwriter, Jonathan Bricklin.

Throughout their six-year relationship, the pair starred in the AOL reality series Connected . They also dealt with a lot of negative comments and public scrutiny over their 31-year age gap.
This included being referred to as Sarandon’s “boy toy.”

“I wasn’t a backup dancer for Madonna,” Jonathan said in an interview with People . “She’s not dating some young male model that could look pretty in tabloid pictures.” When the pair split, he was pretty broken.
“It’s fair to say that we are broken up, but I love her madly and I think she loves me a great deal.”
After a slew of these relationships, the Step Mom actress finally confirmed what we already knew: she prefers younger men.
“I find it difficult now to find older guys who would be appropriate,” she said in an interview with actor Sam Neill for ‘Stellar Magazine.’

“Which people keep pointing out to me if I start going out with someone younger,” she continued. “If I could find an appropriate man like you, Sam, who is curious and wants to get on an adventure still…”
This zest for life and “curiosity” is what she’s looking for in a partner.

“That’s why I’m drawn to people who are artists of some kind – not necessarily actors, but anybody who has a passion to create something,” she said.
“I think I can only be with people who are really looking, interested and asking questions.”
She stated that this is much easier to find in those who are younger because everything is new to them.
“But when you get to a certain point, some people are trying to be safe and protect themselves,” she explained .
She continued on:
“It makes you young when you have a sense of purpose, and [that purpose] doesn’t necessarily have to be saving the world.”
Although she’s single now at 76, she is still “hopeful” that the perfect person will come along.
“I would like to have a travel companion, male, female — age doesn’t matter,” the actress told ‘People.’

“But I would like to find someone who’s up for an adventure kind of attitude. And also, who cares about something passionately and who loves what they do, whatever that is.”
