Yes, apparently the movie was too much for the little guy to handle. Was it cause Sterling K. Brown’s character died in it? Or was it something else, something a little closer to home, perhaps?
Either way, get ready to have your heart grow three sizes because this is a super sweet story.
So Sterling K. Brown went on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’.

Where he talked about his voice role in Frozen 2 .
When asked about how his sons felt about him being in the movie, he said: “They are impressed by it. They’re not impressed that I’m in it.”
But then he was asked how his kids liked ‘Black Panther’.

Just in case you forgot, Sterling K. Brown played Killmonger’s dad in the movie.
Anyways, apparently his son was also not impressed by his role in Black Panther , but for a slightly different reason.
“If you take your son to a movie where the character that plays your son dies, he may have a traumatic effect,”

He began, noting that his son was crying during the movie:
“When Killmonger died in the movie, first time in a movie—no, ‘Pete’s Dragon’ was the first time he cried in a movie. This is the second time. But he was convulsing.”
But things get better from there.
Watch the clip, trust me it’s a cold day and your heart needs to be warmed.
And it’s as heartwarming and beautiful as you might expect. It’s always nice to see a love between a father and a son that is so strong.
Way to go, fellers.
