If you watched this past season of “Sister Wives” then you know exactly why Christine announced her split from Kody last year.
I firmly believe the decision was best not only for Christine but for her children as well. It’s clear their plural marriage wasn’t fitting their family the way it once was.
Fans watched as tensions grew between Kody and the rest of his wives, aside from Robyn, as he cracked down on his strict COVID-19 guidelines.
The patriarch’s one exception was Robyn’s nanny, who was allowed to come and go as she pleased.
“Robyn and I have an employee. We call her a nanny,” Kody explained . “She comes over, she helps with caring for the kids, and she helps with schooling the kids.”
This decision lead to one of the most iconic and quotable moments from the past season when Christine was speaking to the cameras.
“You have a nanny over. She’s over all of the time. I don’t understand why Ysabel can’t come over and hang out. She’s devastated. What does the nanny do? ” she asked.
Social media was soon sent into a frenzy because we all had the exact same question — what DOES the nanny do?
Well, as it turns out… the nanny exposes the Brown family to COVID…

“I got a call from my childcare provider,” Robyn explained to viewers shortly after the nanny revelation came to light.
“She said that her husband and her were testing positive for COVID.”
As you can imagine, the hypocrisy was not lost on viewers, who took to social media to vent their frustrations.
I think it’s safe to say that if any other wife has brought COVID anywhere near Kody, they would have been disowned from the family.
Now, amidst the madness, Christine is getting public support from her own son, Paedon, who was recently spotted stirring the pot, which I have to say — I am so thankful for.
In a TikTok posted to his account, the 23-year-old shared that he got a package sent to him in the mail.
“It doesn’t matter, the package isn’t super important,” he said.
He then goes on to pan the camera to show his t-shirt, which reads ” What. Does. The. Nanny. Do? ” across the chest.
“But it’s kind of just like … kind of funny. You know?” Paedon adds.
The video has garnered nearly 100,000 likes and thousands of supportive comments.
“I don’t like to mention your fam on your page cause it YOUR page but…way to have you mom’s back bud!!” wrote one fan.
“someone stirring the pot and I am here for it,” echoed another.
“Hilarious. Your mom took care of all the children and Robyn can’t take care of two kids ???” pointed out a different fan.
