Sting has always prided himself in health
Despite his current struggle, the singer has always prided himself in a healthy relationship with his body. He has previously credited a macrobiotic diet for his healthy body shape.
A macrobiotic diet typically aims to avoid processed foods and focuses on vegetables and grains.
He and his wife both have healthy diets
Sting and his wife Trudie Styler who moved to the Lake House Farm in Wiltshire in 1991 both adopt healthy diets and grow their own organic vegetables.
They also own free range chickens, bee hives, and even their own trout lake, so it’s safe to say they’re on a self-sufficient diet.
His wife spoke about their diets
Trudie Styler wrote in her 1999 book, The Lake House Cookbook, about the family’s self-sufficient diet, sharing, “I decided that I would only be satisfied if I knew exactly what we were putting on our plates.”
She also shared that she believes the way “we treat our own bodies is by extension the way we treat the planet.”
