On her Instagram story, Simone answered several fan questions and revealed that she wasn’t quite prepared for the ceremony, so her look was a last-minute decision.

“Everything was ordered this week….dress, wedding, band, shoes, bouquet ,” she wrote in her story.
There Will Be A Bigger Wedding
While the small courthouse ceremony already looked breathtaking, there will be a bigger wedding. Simone confirmed in her Q&A session that it will be a destination wedding.

“We had to get married “legally” here in the US – since our wedding will be a destination wedding,” she wrote.
No Date Was Announced
Although she didn’t announce the exact date, Simone stated that the big wedding will be happening in a “couple of weeks”.

The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year. Owens went down on his knee in a small gazebo, presenting a ring to Simone.

Simone shared the pics on her Insta, adding that it was the “easiest yes” she has ever made. “THE EASIEST YESI can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ .”

The couple dated for two years before getting engaged in 2022. They met via the celeb-favorite dating app Raya and it was Simone who made the first move.

“He would say I slid into his DMs,” Biles told The Wall Street Journal. “I saw him and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s pretty cute,’ so I said hi…” The conversation later turned into a hang-out date.

The NFL shared in an interview that one of the things Simone liked was that he (shockingly) didn’t know who she was. “I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked.”
