Prince Harry and Meagan Markle are firing back at the UK tabloids. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently wrote a letter, stating how they would no longer allow themselves to be used for fodder.
Sharon Osbourne recently discussed the issue on Global’s The Talk . It was clear that Sharon not only felt The Royals were in the wrong, but that they’d made the situation even worse.
Prince Harry & Meagan Markle aren’t happy with the UK tabloids.

The couple recently wrote a letter to four separate UK tabloids, stating they would no longer “offer themselves up as currency for an economy of clickbait and distortion.”
The couple is fed up with the invasive nature of the press.

The letter alleges that the tabloids were writing stories that were “distorted, false, or invasive beyond reason.”
Sharon Osbourne caught wind of the story and give her two cents on Global’s *The Talk*.

“I’m a bit confused about this. Firstly, I think the timing is really, you know, terrible to do something like this,” Sharon said in her interview .
Sharon goes on to say that not only was the letter ill-timed, but it was totally unnecessary.

“And the thing is, cut yourself off, you can cut yourself off without sending a letter . You refuse all interviews. It’s an easy thing to do, but you can never stop the pap selling pictures to papers.”
Sharon couldn’t wrap her head around the public nature of the letter.

“I just don’t get why they needed to be so public about it. Just do it. Just tell your publicist or all the people around you, your staff, that you won’t have anything to do with them.”
She was empathetic but remained firm that Prince Harry & Meagan had made a mistake.

“It’s simple that way… I get their frustration… but it would have been better to say nothing and carry on.”
Which left Harry & Meagan looking like Royal brats.

What do you think? Was it wrong for them to send the letter?
