Frida star, Salma Hayek , took to Instagram to share a makeup-free vacation selfie showing off her “white hair of wisdom” with her more than 20-million followers. The 55-year-old’s transparency was well-received, as the post was quickly met with applause and praise from fans for looking “ageless” and for “normalizing natural beauty.”

Always has been and probably always will be. Whether she’s in full-glam and dressed to the nines, or barefaced with her greying hair in a bun, laying on a beach, she’s a true beauty — and a natural one at that.
In February 2020, the actress set the record straight after a troll accused her of having “too much botox.”
“Too much botox. Not needed Salma!” the commenter wrote, to which Salma replied, explaining that while she doesn’t have botox, she had been considering it.
“I don’t have botox But thank you for the advice because I was thinking maybe it’s time,” she wrote.
In 2021, speaking with Jada Pinkett Smith on her talk show series, Red Table Talk , Salma also revealed that contrary to popular belief, she has never undergone breast augmentation.
She explained that after she began to experience menopause, her breast size grew, causing her to face accusations of plastic surgery.
“A lot of people say I had breast augmentation. I don’t blame them. My boobs were smaller. They just have kept growing many, many sizes,” she told Jada.
Even back in 2011, Salma advocated for embracing beauty at all ages, the natural way.
“I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth,” she told Allure . “within you there is beauty, and you have to learn how to find it and enhance it in a natural way.”
“One thing that is exciting about being a woman is that you can rediscover your beauty over and over and over,” she continued, adding that women actually get sexier with age.
“As a woman, you should be more at ease with your sexuality when you are in your 40s,” she said.

“You are more self-assured about that part. And that’s the way it should be. If you are a girl who cannot walk in heels, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are.”
“If you look like a chicken that’s been spiked in the feet, it’s not going to be sexy,” Salma added.
