Salma Hayek is showing a good heart as she puts Hollywood aside and focuses on the planet while enjoying an underwater swim. The MCU actress, 56, is fresh from an Instagram update pleading to fans to consider the ocean and everything that lives in it.
Ocean Love
In her Thursday share, Salma shared footage of herself deep-diving in gorgeous waters and with the wildlife she’s aiming to save. The Eternals star was kitted out for her session, wearing a tight black wetsuit, with the appropriate oxygen tank and mask.

Picking Up Trash Herself
While Salma did include footage of the sea plants at the bed of the ocean, she focused on the trash she found lying around there. In fact, she got to work collecting it herself, with the camera catching her picking up strewn-away cans and collecting them in a bag.
Says Take Some Responsibility
In a caption, the Mexican-born star began:
“Underwater we all share the trash. Let’s all share the responsibility for a future with clean oceans and the survival of our beautiful and vital coral.”

Offering a Spanish translation for her Hispanic followers, Hayek continued:

Salma quickly gained likes, with fans flocking to the comments section. “Thank you for shedding light on the importance of protecting our corals! Join us next time you’re in Aqaba!” one user wrote.
