On February 1st, Ozzy Osbourne had to make one of the hardest statements of his long career: he canceled his upcoming tour, and he’s unsure if he will be able to return to the stages. The 74-year-old singer has been living with Parkinson’s for the past four years and recently got spinal surgery to avoid total paralysis after suffering a tragic fall.
The Tour Was Canceled
The Prince of Darkness was originally to set foot on the road in 2019 in Europe; however, the tour was postponed three times before getting canceled. He shared the note on his Instagram , where he thanked his fans for waiting this long and his team for following through on the journey.

Osbourne was extremely sad about this decision, as he said he never “expected his touring days would end this way.” All tickets will be refunded. Still, his fans care more about his health than the money. The comment section was filled with encouraging words and good wishes for his recovery.

The tour was supposed to be in the company of Judas Priest. A few weeks ago, the vocalist of this band, Rob Halford, expressed how eager he was for Ozzy to recover so they could go on tour together. He expected to get on the road by 2024 if it had to be postponed again.

His Latest Work Is Full Of Legends
The rocker was nominated in four categories for the Grammys for his latest album, Patient Number 9 . The album contains the participation of several legendary musicians, such as Eric Clapton , Chad Smith , Tony Iommi , and the late Taylor Hawkins and Jeff Beck . Osbourne recalled, “He died literally a week or two after he worked on my album,” referring to Hawkins.

Ozzy was seen a few hours after his announcement in Los Angeles. He’s staying in the US as his kids, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, live there with his grandchildren. In the pictures, the singer walked with a cane while showing the peace sign to the paparazzi.
