Before his death, Boss modeled for the collaboration collection, which includes hoodies, varsity jackets, basketball shorts, sweatpants, chinos, hats, tote bags, socks, and other items for children and adults.
He Was Friends With The Gap Family
The former Ellen DJ can be seen wearing a Gap 1968 logo varsity jacket, tote bag, cuffed slacks, and black loafers in the photographs. The comment on the photo of Boss reads,
The TV celebrity was chosen for the campaign because of his friendship with The Brooklyn Circus’s founder and creative director, Ouigi Theodore.
Honoring Stephen tWitch Boss
The collection centers around ‘concepts of individualism, movement and modern prep – mixing academia, music, Black culture, and street style from the 1960s through now,’ according to the sponsors.
Gap is honoring Boss by donating to Vibrant Emotional Health, a nonprofit that assists those in distress who do not have access to life-saving counseling, therapy, or support.
Dead By Suicide
Boss died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Los Angeles hotel room. The longtime executive producer of Ellen DeGeneres’ program checked into the Oak Tree Inn in Encino at 10.30 a.m. and was discovered dead the next day after he forgot to check out.
According to TMZ , he left a suicide note in the hotel room referencing his difficulties and put his phone in airplane mode before killing himself.
He Had Gone Missing Before His Death
Boss’ wife of nine years contacted Los Angeles police on Tuesday to report him missing, stating he had departed without saying anything the day before and wasn’t returning her calls, according to TMZ, citing law enforcement sources.
However, Holker maintained that no fight or disagreement prompted his departure just three days after their wedding anniversary, and his lack of contact was out of character.
His Legacy
Following his passing, his wife issued a statement to People in which she gushed about his legacy.
