Hearts broke around the world last week when it was announced that Goodfellas star Ray Liotta had passed away Thursday . The 67-year-old was in the middle of a career resurgence and was engaged to the love of his life, Jacy Nittolo.
Now, Ray’s devastated fiancée is breaking her silence following the death of the Field of Dreams star in a new emotional Instagram post featuring sweet, never-before-seen photos of the pair.

“Deadline” reported Thursday that actor Ray Liotta died unexpectedly in his sleep while on location in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting his latest film “Dangerous Waters.”
The actor leaves behind one daughter, 23-year-old Karsen, who he shares with ex-wife Michelle Grace, and his fiancée of over one year, Jacy Nittolo.
“People” magazine reports that police do not suspect foul play and that Jacy was on location with her fiancé at the time of his death.
The former hairstylist is a mom of four biological children but clearly viewed Ray’s daughter Karsen as one of her own, having all five of the children’s names in her Instagram bio.
In December 2020, Ray announced his engagement to Jacy.
“Christmas wishes do come true,” he captioned a sweet picture of the couple by their Christmas tree . “I asked the love of my life to marry me, and thank God she said yes!!!”
In the days following Ray’s unexpected passing, many of the actor’s friends and former co-stars broke their silence on social media to remember their fallen friend.
Prior to Jacy’s emotional tribute, fans had been flooding her more recent Instagram post (two beach photos with Ray posted back in January) with their condolences.
Now, the mom of four is breaking her silence.
Sharing a series of photos with her late fiancée, Jacy began : “My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical. Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever. We laughed daily and we were inseparable.”
“The chemistry was wild in the best way,” she continued.
“He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of. He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known…and even that is an understatement.”
Friends and fans took to the comments section to offer words of support during this devastating time.
“I have no words …as a genuine admirer of his priceless contribution to film. But as a woman, my heart is heaviest for you because I am sure the most important role he played was that of the love of your life. I am truly sorry for his loss and my heart is with you,” wrote one fan.
“I know how much he loved you too. It’s the intensity, not the duration that is so special. He was meant to find you when he did. Thank you for being there for him. We are all going to miss him,” echoed another.
