However, this year’s Super Bowl showed those who attended it no mercy when it came down to beer prices, and it makes everyone wonder if next year’s price list will be as ruthless.

The Super Bowl LIX was held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, with 75,000 attendees coming to lavish in the adrenaline the game brings.

While a BudLight 12-pack is a bit over $10 at Walmart, the beers, food, and beverages knew no mercy at the Super Bowl so, some people had to think twice before quenching their thirst or hunger there.

For your average beer, you had to pay $13.99 for a Coors Light, Budweiser, or Bud Light. If you wanted to go a bit extra you would have paid $15.99 for premium beers such as Model Especial, Michelob Ultra, Kona Big Wave, or Stella Artois.

According to Sports Illustrated, the price list for beer was as follows:

While the alternatives may not be as convenient, they are better than nothing. According to USA Today, there are alternatives for $10 and less, for instance:

- Pretzel $8
- Hot dog $8
- Gatorade $9

- Nachos $10

With the average ticket price for the Super Bowl amounting to $6,645, such commodities won’t add that much fuel to the fire.
