The death of the pro wrestler was announced by All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan. He took to Twitter to share the tragic news on Tuesday. Khan used the wrestler’s real name, writing, “Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away,”

Briscoe was a star in ROH for more than 20 years. He and his brother, Mark, reigned as champions in ROH for years to date.
Details Of The Fatal Accident
The news of Briscoe’s death was confirmed by the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer. He shared that the accident happened by 5:30 p.m. Meltzer also reported that two children were hospitalized from the accident. However, his brother, Mark, was not in the car at the time of the accident.

The emergency log gotten by the wrestling outlet, Ringside New s gave details about the incident. There was another death recorded at the scene. A woman who was in another vehicle also died during the accident. Also, Briscoe’s daughter was with him during the wreck and was in critical condition.

WBOC shared that due to the heartbreaking incident, the Lauren School District said they will close schools on January 18th. However, the schools would be reopened on January 19th.
