Prince William shared a heartfelt moment with those waiting in line to pay their respects to the Queen.

“On Thursday, the world lost an extraordinary leader, whose commitment to the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth was absolute,” Prince William shared in a statement.
“So much will be said in the days ahead about the meaning of her historic reign,” he continued . “I, however, have lost a grandmother,” “And while I will grieve her loss, I also feel incredibly grateful. I have had the benefit of The Queen’s wisdom and reassurance into my fifth decade.”

“My three children have got to spend holidays with her and create memories that will last their whole lives,” he continued. “She was by my side at my happiest moments. Over the weekend, Prince William stepped out to greet mourners for the Queen who had been waiting in the queue for hours.
One man shared that he had come from the Czech Republic to pay his respects, to which William can be heard replying, “She’s never believe this, honestly, she really wouldn’t.”
