One of the most common ones is older male celebrities dating gorgeous models who are half their age (looking at you, Leo).
While you might assume that actor Pierce Brosnan would fall into that category, he’s proven his naysayers wrong.
Not only is Pierce’s wife Keely only 10 years younger than him, she’s not a size zero either.
The adorable pair have been together since 1994
They met at a party in Mexico where Keely was working as a TV correspondent.
She was supposed to interview Ted Danson but ended up connecting with Pierce instead.

The death of his wife, Cassandra, due to ovarian cancer left Pierce as a single father. Shortly after they married, he adopted her children, Charlotte and Chris.
Pierce gushed about his wife during an interview
“Keely has always been kind and compassionate and encouraged me to mourn Cassie,” the superstar told The Sun. “I think of her all the time. I suppose Keely is my North Star, always looking out for me.”
The pair expanded their blended family in 1997
Their son, Dylan, was born on January 13, 1997. Pierce and Keely welcomed their second child together, a son named Paris, on February 27, 2001.
Growing up without a father means that Pierce “cherishes” every moment of being a father.

In 2021, Jenelle Evans posted a before-and-after photo of the actor and his wife on the beach on her Facebook page.
The photos, which are around 20 years apart, show how the couple has gained weight over the years.
“This is us,” Jenelle captioned the photo
Evans tagged her husband, Eason, and he didn’t like the comparison. “We do not look that fat,” he responded.
“Close to it,” Janelle replied with a laugh. After the pair faced intense backlash, Facebook intervened by slapping them with a temporary ban.
It’s not just random strangers who comment on Keely’s weight
It’s also been a subject amongst their own friends.
When asked how he feels about Keely changing her weight in an interview, he said, “Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight.”
Pierce loves her body just the way it is
“I strongly love every curve of her body… She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes… And also because she had our five children…”
He continued on by saying:
