It’s normal human instinct and nature to give it our all to look our best. However, aging is a normal process, and while some people are not proud of their aging signs, it’s normal. People now beg to differ as they’ve seen photos of Demi Moore at the SFFilm Awards this week looking flawless and younger than ever despite being 62 years old.
Her iconic appearance

The Golden Globe nominee struck everyone with her flawless looks on the ready carpet at SFFILM’s Awards Night in San Francisco, California. She was wearing a figure-hugging black dress with a black denim jacket, all designed by GapStudio VP Zac Posen.
The accessories she wore

Moore complemented her dazzling yet simple look with a low-key silver chain around her neck with three diamond-encrusted strands. She also wore matching diamond-encrusted earrings and had a special guest on her, her extremely cute and adorable Chihuahua Pilaf.
Paul Skallas gives his take

Skallas took to X, posting the latest pictures of Moore and talking about the “tough standard” that women have to face to look impossibly young until they are old. He said, “Women were just supposed to be hot in their 20s and 30s, but now the expectation is they have to be hot all the way up until they die.”
Comments on the tweet agreed

People agree that the standards nowadays are rough, and in order to meet them, you must have a ton of money on you, otherwise, you will age. Another said, “It’s really unfair to expect 50+ year old women to compete with 20 somethings on the dating market. No wonder people are depressed.”
Moore opens up to People

Moore revealed to People Magazine that throughout her life, she found it normal to place judgment upon herself. “I can look back and go at 20, at 30 I was finding things that weren’t good enough,” she told the outlet. “My relationship with [aging] now is much more in a joyous acceptance.”
The eating disorder was a culprit, too

Some may say, “Oh I wish that was not that way,” but aging is inevitable and Moore came to terms with it. Another thing she had to come to terms with was the eating disorder that she developed amidst her successful Hollywood career.
Periods of extreme exercise

Moore talked to Elle Magazine about her crippling obsession with working out which took a big part of her life for five years, after feeling humiliated by one of the producers telling her to “lose weight.” She claimed that an unnamed producer “pulled [her] aside,” telling her to lose weight “multiple times.”
She “internalized” it

Having internalized the exchange with the unnamed producer, the whole interaction took its toll on her. “It moved me to a place of such torture and harshness against myself, of real extreme behaviors, and that I placed almost all the value of who I was, on my body being a certain way,” she explained.

The movie the 62-year-old actress was awarded the Maria Manetti Shrem Award for Acting for is about a former Oscar winner, now turned an a host of a popular aerobics TV show. After turning 50, she got kicked out of the show for her age.
Then she found The Substance

After being kicked out of the show, the former Oscar winner found a leeway, “the substance.” “The substance” is a mystery medication that will allow her to inhabit a much younger body. The movie explores the theme of how far people would go in order to stay young and give in to societal pressures.
