Working in customer service can be a real drag. More often than not, it’s a thankless job that can end up wearing you down. However, every now and again, the perks far outweigh the negatives.

Reddit user really_realist has come into close contact with a number of different celebrities over the years. While at their place of work, they’ve had the chance to serve Avril Lavigne, Kevin O’Leary, as well as Toronto’s favorite son — Drake. Apparently, all of them tipped very well.
Rumors of Russell Crowe’s ill-temper have been greatly exaggerated.

Redditor reinederien was in the middle of their shift when they were told by their GM to take extra special care of George Lucas’ drink order. After they informed the GM that they had no idea who George Lucas was, they were nearly fired on the spot.
John Mayer appreciates a good steak.

Kings of Leon bassist, Jared Followill, is an ‘American Psycho’.
This Redditor who goes by the handle LessDoug served Jared in the restaurant of his hotel. Apparently, Jared was staying under the pseudonym, Patrick Bateman — who also happens to be the main protagonist in the cult slasher film, American Psycho .
Larry David likes his oatmeal done right.

Donnie Wahlberg is a gem of a guy.
You may not know this, but Donnie Wahlberg has a sweet tooth. He came into Reddit user falconpuppy’s restaurant late one night, simply to order a piece of warm, fresh pie. Donnie supposedly liked it so much that he told falconpuppy to keep the change after handing them a $50 bill!
Denzel Washington misbehaved one night at a strip club.
“He had a personal bodyguard and demanded entrance from a side entrance and wanted champagne and catered food. He didn’t tip a single dancer the entire time he was there, and completely acted like an ass.” – Reddit u/demonknight1701
Drew Carey may just be the nicest man alive.

That is, according to Reddit user bmoretimo. They said in their post that Carey has a habit of taking care of those who work in the service industry. While he was there, he paid for everyone’s drinks and gave each of the wait staff a sizable tip as well.

Insult comic Jeff Ross really isn’t all that bad in real life.

Jeff Ross is best-known for his hilarious appearances on the Comedy Central Roast circuit. While Reddit user fuzzy510 was working, Jeff was as kind and polite as could be. He introduced himself, as well as everyone else at the table, and left a great tip.
Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t want you to be cold.
“I served Samuel L. Jackson once at the golf course I[sic] worked at. He was very nice, it was windy that day and i was wearing a full-on wind breaker[sic] suit (not your typical golf cart girl attire) so he asked me if i was cold… i have no idea what I said.” – Reddit u/kklayh
Seth Rogen is just plain awesome.

Seth Rogen was one of the best customers Reddit user Frontrowshuffle ever served. Not only did Seth act and sound exactly as he does in the movies, but when the night was over he bought everyone in the bar a round of drinks as well as a bottle of champagne for the staff.
Pauly Shore is kind of stuck up.
