Now, people have begun to boycott the film, because of the actress, Liu Yifei, who posted something quite controversial.

Liu Yifei posted a statement on her Weibo account.
“I support the Hong Kong police. You can all attack me now. What a shame for Hong Kong,” she said.
This was met with a lot of criticism.
Considering the fact that the police are seen using excessive and unnecessary force, this angered a lot of people.
