Avengers: Endgame is just around the corner, and fans will finally have their craziest of theories answered.
When it comes to those theories, some of them may be a bit more disturbing than others, to say the least.
Everyone and their mother is excited for “Avengers: Endgame”.

Go ahead, ask your mom. We can wait.
See, we were right. Nevertheless, the internet’s excitement cannot be contained.
Throughout the months, people have been discussing their theories about the soon-to-be blockbuster.
There are the death theories.

Captain America is going to die. Iron Man is going to die. Tony Stark is going to have to go back in time to kill his parents.
There are the “who’s going to save everyone” theories.

Will it be Gamora? Will Nebula steal the gauntlet and free the snapped?
Will it be Goose the cat from Captain Marvel ?
Then there are the theories about how they’re going to defeat Thanos, the main villain.

Will they trick him into the quantum zone? Or will they use this… interesting method…
There is a theory making the rounds on Reddit involving Thanos, Ant- Man…

And the Mad Titan’s B**t.
No, no need to reread that last part, you read it right.
The theory goes like this:

Ant-Man, whose powers involve changing size, enters Thanos’ rear end when he’s microscopic then expands once he’s inside, presumably destroying the dastardly evil-doer.
Interesting – yes, disturbing – definitely.

But what is the likelihood of this actually happening?
Unfortunately (or, actually, probably, fortunately) this likely isn’t the way the Avengers are going to defeat their arch-foe.
First off, Paul Rudd finds the whole thing very strange.

The actor who plays Ant-Man, well-known comedian Paul Rudd, has gone on record saying the whole thing is odd.
During an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show”, Paul Rudd was asked about the theory.

At first, he laughs nervously, then he drops possibly the greatest name for a hypothesis ever:
The Th- a**s Theory.
He says about the “Thanus” theory:

While he agrees the method would do the trick, he asks “But why not the ear? Or the nose? Why does it have to be…” and he trails off.
Next, when pressed, he diverted the question to another actor.

In an interview with Entertainment.ie, after being asked about Thanus yet again, he said, “I almost think it’s a question for Thanos.”
He is of course talking about Josh Brolin, the actor who plays The Mad Titan.
And Mr. Brolin has even slyly responded to the theory with a hilarious Instagram post.
Some have already started debunking the theory for themselves.
Which makes you think — does this theory really need debunking?
And no, it doesn’t.

Co-director Anthony Russo has dispelled rumors.
He said about fan theories: “There’s so much variation and so many odds in terms of how these things unfold that the specific narrative, nobody actually guesses that.”
How do you think the Avengers will defeat Thanos?
