As Daniel Craig has wrapped up his run as the famous 007, the series will have to look to the future to see where the next James Bond might be hiding. However, they are already receiving suggestions from one actor’s grandma.
Miles Teller’s grandmother took to Twitter to explain why she thinks her grandson would be the perfect choice for the next James Bond.
Actor Miles Teller might be in the running for a new role.
And it’s all thanks to his grandma.
Perhaps best known for his starring role in Whiplash but most recently performing the role of Lt. Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw in Top Gun: Maverick, Teller’s own family seemingly wants to line up his next role.
His grandmother, Leona Flowers, took to Twitter with an idea.
As seen above, her tweet reads, “They’re looking for an actor to replace Daniel Craig for future 007 movies. I think my grandson, Miles Teller, has proven that he has everything they’re looking for – talent, looks, strength, worldwide appeal & oh, so cool.”
“He can be that guy!! Wouldn’t he be great?”
People found her enthusiasm and support for her grandson so remarkably endearing. They replied with questions and encouragements alike.
When someone asked if Teller could do a British accent, Flowers assured them that he studied accents in acting school, has British heritage, and that “the folks in London loved him when he was just there with the premiere of Top Gun Maverick . He even charmed William & Kate.”
Flowers is very proud of her own viral moment.
She quote retweeted a piece from E! News, saying she was “overwhelmed” by the attention. She also shares even more love for Teller, writing, “He’s always been so loving to me. And we make each other smile.”
Who knows, she might get Teller in the running.

Daniel Craig’s final Bond film, No Time to Die, released in 2021. Since then, franchise producer Barbara Broccoli told Deadline the search for the new James Bond hasn’t even begun yet as this next chapter will be “a reinvention of Bond.”
Maybe this reinvention will steer Tellers way thanks to Flowers’ charming pitch.
