Meghan Trainor has revealed that she’s gone ‘cold turkey’ from drinking coffee after receiving a chilling warning from a psychic.
Most people reach for coffee in the morning

Coffee has certainly become part of many people’s routines as caffeine can help keep the energy up throughout the day.
According to the National Coffee Association, 66% of adults in America drink coffee everyday.
Trainor was one of those people
The 31-year-old singer used to be a coffee drinker until she received a shocking warning from a psychic.
She explained that despite making sure she lives a healthy lifestyle, she found that she ‘still wasn’t feeling great’ and couldn’t tell why.
She was overworking herself
The mom-of-two told People, “I wasn’t feeling great. And I was like, ‘I don’t understand. I eat so healthy, I work out. Why do I feel like this?’ And I realized I was overworking myself.”
This was until a psychic spoke to her husband, who is Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara.
The psychic warned her husband
“The psychic never met me. My husband was gifted a session with her and she said, ‘Your wife is using coffee like speed. She’s non-stop and it’s not helping her and she’s just crashing out,’” Trainor recalled.
Trainor wasn’t even at the meeting
“I was like, ‘How does she know that?’ And he came home and told me, and I immediately stopped,” the singer added.
“Cold turkey just stopped because I was drinking it all day to just survive and be steady and then I would crash and be buzzing at night to sleep.”
It wasn’t the easiest task
Quitting coffee cold turkey wasn’t exactly an easy task for Trainor. She said that it was a ‘tough week’ for her, but she now has ‘more energy than ever.’
“It was life-changing,” the singer said.
Trainor has a tour coming up
Speaking on her upcoming tour, which is set to start in June 2026, Trainor said that she plans to handle it the way she has in previous tours. “No sleep, power through and thrive,” she said.
“I will do the show. We get up at 7 a.m. because the kids get up at 7 a.m. and then we go find an amusement park or a museum.”
She laid out her usual routine
“They love children’s museums… then we eat lunch together, I do a soundcheck, we have early dinner so that I don’t burp on stage,” Trainor went on.
“And after soundcheck, I’m in full glam, like pop star outfit, and I’m helping our incredible nanny Leslie, who helps us out and my husband and my mom.”
Trainor balances motherhood with her work
“There’s four of us on two kids trying to get them in a bath that we unfold to put in this shower. It’s chaos,” Trainor continued.
“Then once they’re good to go, we walk them to the bus and they go to bed. And then I do the show and I get to sleep at about 11 or midnight. And then we get up and it’s Groundhog Day and we do it all over again.”
