One says no pictures, please!
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have certainly had a tumultuous time in the spotlight since their fairytale romance and wedding in 2018, whether it’s been for the birth of their children (Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1), their abrupt withdrawal from their royal duties , or for rumors of unease between them and other members of the family .
The latest rumors come from an insider report that the couple wasn’t allowed to take photographs of their youngest child’s first meeting with Queen Elizabeth during the celebration of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee was a huge event.

Her Majesty was celebrating her Platinum Jubilee from June 2 to June 5, 2022, in the UK, and the commonwealth. This was to honor the 70th anniversary of her reign as Queen, which began in February of 1952.
While the celebration was for Lizzie, it was her great-grandchildren who stole the show!
Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, stirred up a lot of headlines.
Four-year-olds can be dramatic on the best of days, so it’s no surprise to any parents out there that Prince Louis was showing a LOT of personality. A video of him shushing his mom on the balcony quickly went viral, and I for one am obsessed.
But Louis wasn’t the only royal grandchild to cause a stir.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were also in attendance for the Jubilee, and people were very interested in whether their children, Archie and Lili, were going to be in attendance, since they usually live with their parents in the United States.
So when a story emerged about Lili meeting her great-grandmother for the first time, of course we were ALL invested.
Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet Diana, recently celebrated her first birthday on June 4th.

It’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to believe that it’s already been a year since Lilibet was born. Her name made quite the stir among fans of the Royal family — while it’s clear that her middle name, Diana, was in honor of the late Princess of Wales, some were confused about where Lilibet came from.
A statement on Meghan and Harry’s website revealed the inspiration.
“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family,” they continued .
Lilibet’s name had a very special meaning.

“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales,” it revealed.
Since Harry and Meghan live with their children in the United States, many were wondering when the Queen and baby Lili would get to meet.
Queen Elizabeth and baby Lilibet had their first meeting last Thursday, according to reports — but no pictures were allowed.

Like many parents do, it was rumored that Meghan and Harry wanted to document the meeting and get some pictures of Lilibet meeting her namesake, but it wasn’t allowed.
“Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen,” the insider told The Sun . “But they were told no chance. It was a private family meeting.”
However, the couple did release a very cute photo of Lilibet (by herself) to celebrate her birthday.
The photo was shared by Meghan and Harry’s close friend and celebrity photographer, Misan Harriman .
Fans were quick to point out some resemblances between Lili and her family.
Fans obviously saw the resemblance between Lilibet and her dad (that red hair!) but other fans thought she looked a lot like her namesake did when Elizabeth was young.
Regardless of whether there were any photos, we’re sure the meeting of the Lilibets was very sweet, even if there are no pictures of it to prove it!
