In a bid to cover his tracks, Maitland discovered he had saved Pepi’s name under a man named “Andrew Galata-Burleigh.” She could certify it was her friend by comparing Pepi’s contacts on her phone with the number on Gibbs’s phone.

The leaked messages, which had flirty undertones, focused on Pepi and Gibbs planning to meet up as recently as last month, including when they planned to go for a crazy sunrise swim and coffee together.

Pepi suggested they do both to which Gibbs replied with “Boom” and a fist-pump emoji and wrote “Love it” with a devil emoji.

Pepi has been seen in Instagram pictures with the couple many times, which means they’ve been good friends for a while.
Maitland And Gibbs Got Engaged Last Year
The pair announced their engagement in March last year on Instagram, and Gibbs captioned the image with “Pop the champagne, she’s changing her last name.”

The ex-cop, who now works as a plumber following his exit from the police force, pleaded guilty to five drug-related charges in the Melbourne Magistrates Court in 2014. He was suspended for a year for his admittance to trafficking, using cocaine, and possessing steroids and ecstasy.
